DUE THURSDAY, 11/17:  Should the United States of America use the electoral college to elect the president or should the president be elected by popular vote?  Make sure to use evidence from all of the sources we have used for our learning to write this essay:  1) the opinion article you read in Newsela, 2) the article we read in See How They Run, 3) the 270towin website, and 4) your iNotebook. ALSO, here is your essay assignment that you will learn about on Thursday: Should the United States of America use the electoral college to elect the president or should the president be elected by popular vote?  Make sure to use evidence from all of the sources we have used for our learning: Use the opinion article you read in Newsela, the article we read in See How They Run, the 270towin website, and your iNotebook to write this essay. Use the Pages document you uploaded from eBackpack*, and the notes you took on the notecatcher to help you plan and write. The essay will be due Thursday 11/14 at the beginning of class. You will be expected to work on this in AND outside of class.
